Panadrex Drops (Raspberry flavored)

Active ingredients: Each 1 ml contains:
Paracetamol 100 mg

Mode of Action:
Panadrex Drops contain paracetamol which is an analgesic (a pain killer that reduces aches and shivers) and antipyretic (it reduces temperature when a child has a fever).

Indications:
Panadrex Drops relieve the pain of teething, toothache and sore throats and reduce the fever often associated with colds and flu and childhood infections such as chicken pox, whooping cough, measles and mumps.

Posology: 
• The recommended dose is 10 - 15 mg/kg 
• The dose of Panadrex drops for infants may be chosen based on weight or age. (please refer to the insert leaflet for more details)

Precautions:
• Do not give more than 4 doses or do not exceed 60 mg/kg in any 24 hour period.
• Minimum dosing interval: 4 hours
• Maximum duration of continued use without medical advice: 3 days
• Suitable for children as young as one month of age, however, not recommended <2 months except under medical advice.
• Caution when used in patients with impaired kidney or liver function. Liver damage is possible in the event of overdosage.

Contraindications:
• Hypersensitivity to the active substances (paracetamol) or any of the other excipients.
• In combination with other paracetamol-containing medication
• Fructose intolerance

Storage and disposal:
• Keep in a safe place, out of the reach and sight of children.
• Store below 30° C.
• Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste.
