How to use?
Carbimazole is used to reduce the formation of thyroid hormones in adults and children with an overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism). It can be used to restore the normal function of the thyroid gland before its partial removal by surgery.
How to use?
For adults, the recommended starting dose is 20-60 mg given in 2-3 divided doses. Once stable, the dose can be decreased to 5-15 mg a day.
